From sharing their first kiss in year 10, many date days at their fave spot, Coriole, (which is now the place they tied the knot), to a sweet and slightly chaotic proposal at their other favourite spot, The Pavilions at Lenswood, Emma and Tobi’s love story has always felt unbelievably effortless, connected and full of hilarity.
Emma and Tobi…along with their family and friends…will tell you that their real secret is how they always seem to just find themselves on the same page.
When Emma was asked what keeps her falling in love with her husband to be everyday she said:
“I love Tobi’s ability to light up a room simply by being present. He brings warmth and happiness wherever he goes, and that’s something I’ll never stop falling for…”

Last night was absolutely epic! I can honestly say I’ve never cried at an ABIA Gala before, but the tears were definitely flowing when two of the most special women in my life—both of whom have faced incredible adversity to follow their passion—took out first place!
@amy_harrison_celebrant has had one of the hardest years of her life, yet I’ve watched her consistently put her couples’ needs and experiences first. When they announced her name, I was so overjoyed that I nearly squeezed the life out of her in a hug! “Umm Vic, I can’t breathe!”
And then, my best friend of over 30 years won first place in the Bridal Boutique category after an intense first year in business.
The sacrifices Bianca has made to chase her dream have been immense, so seeing her receive that recognition for her hard work was the best feeling in the world. Congratulations @thesposagroupadelaide !
Also my beautiful friend the stunning Tania from @choonsandmoovz tied with Dan from @foebiz.entertainment for the DJ category and shared her powerful journey with the room—it was truly moving.

Hubby and I could not have attended two more different events last night! He chucked on his best flannelette and joined the sea of black at the Metallica concert at @adelaideoval , while over the river I was dancing around in peaches and cream at the @abiaweddings awards at @eosbyskycity !

Claire loves James more than KFC leg peices and James loves Claire’s incredible energy that makes everything feel brighter, more fun, and a little less serious…even if the house isn’t spotless 😆.
The calm to the chaos, this dynamic duo truly balance each other out!
Claire will happily do literally anything else before doing what actually needs to be done like the simple task of putting the clothes away and she’s fantastic at giving her “helpful” feedback- especially when James is cooking...which makes it super fun.
While James selfishly doesn’t cancel absolutely everything to hang out with Claire on her days off and he is a total scaredy cat who refuses to jump out of planes, and is way too sensible saying no to holidays every six months…

• Having all of their nieces and nephews involved in the precessional which was equal parts chaotic and sweet. They may or may not have been bribed with money and lollies 😆.
• saving seats for the wedding party to sit down after the intro part of the ceremony so they could relax a little and actually watch on and enjoy witnessing their friends getting married.
• Concave chair set up so everything felt super inclusive.
• Super chilled live music vibes played by Leigh ODonohue Music (think pub acoustic).
• Choosing the same song ‘When you say nothing at all’ by Ronin Keating for both entrance and exit (played a bit more upbeat for exit), which felt really good.

Tayman told me he would be ‘useless’ when Kim walked down the aisle on their big day! And he wasn’t lying 🥲.
But to be fair everyone that was there at @vineshedvenuemclarenvale on Friday was balling their eyes out with an abundance of love and happiness as they witnessed these two genuinely connected souls get married.

Even though they shared classes in both primary and high school, sparks didn’t fly right away for Amy and Jacob.
It wasn’t until Year 12, when they found themselves working side by side as lifeguards at the Gawler Aquatic Centre, that things started to shift.
They began spending more time together, as they enjoyed sushi dates, beach swims, and plenty of low-key hangs.
But it was towards the end of Year 12 that things really began to blossom. Jacob started asking Amy to hang out after work for ‘casual’ dinners together, you know, just ‘friendly’ catch-ups.
Now, Amy, had popped Jacob in the friend zone, so of course she thought these were just mate dates…
Meanwhile Jacob knew he had to break out of that dreaded friend zone fast and he treated them very much as date dates.
Finally, they realised what was in front of them the whole time…and a decade later the rest is history as they got married on a stunning spring day in the magical @comida_hahndorf gardens surrounded by all of their crying friends and family (seriously there was not a dry eye to be seen…and hay fever was definitely not to blame 😉).
Their personal modern ceremony choices:
• No ‘formal’ wedding party, just a group of gorgeous humans who hung out with them for the day and brought the hype.
• Amy’s mum and dad accompanied Amy down the aisle and Jacob’s mum and dad presented the rings.
• Their besties that have been there for their entire story signed the paperwork.
• They picked what side they wanted to stand on…mainly so Amy could show a tiny bit of leg thanks to a beautiful slit in her skirt.
The energy of these two is incredibly contagious! A humungous congratulations @amywormald and @jacobconnole ❤️
